Help us create more habitat for our endangered freshwater fish
Freshwater fish are the most endangered group of animals on the planet. Habitat loss is one of their key threats.
Our goal, with your help, is to restore 1,000km of native fish habitat by raising funds to remove redundant weirs. Dams and weirs obstruct fish passage. There are over 4,000 barriers in NSW, many of which are redundant but continue to block fish passage.

We've already received funds from the Recreational Fishing Trust to assist with the removal of Bangate Bridge weir in west NSW (pic left), which will restore over 50km of passage.
Only 950km to go! |
So get your fishing clubs together, or your schools and help raise funds to remove redundant fish barriers and restore native fish passage.
